Our support worker programme
Regener8 Cymru are delivering a support worker programme for anyone looking for a new rewarding career in support or existing support workers looking to upskill and build on their current knowledge.
The course provides - An overview of the support sector and the many different opportunities available - Lone working and Risk Assessments - Support planning and boundaries - Multi agency working - Domestic Abuse - Safeguarding-Preventing burnout with self care and resilience and Employability job application process and how to make yourself stand out from the crowd.
The Support Worker training course provides an introduction of a Support Worker role and an overview the industry.
The sessions cover a range of topics required for the Support Worker role. This course will provide non-Support Workers with valuable information regarding the role and experience to enable individuals to complete successful applications and secure a rewarding role in support.
The sessions are currently delivered face to face and are also available via Teams and Zoom over 4 days, hours 10.00am to 2.30pm
Courses can be delivered day, evening and weekends to meet individual needs
This course is also available for CPD (continuous professional development) training for existing Support workers.
